RECLAIMING JUSTICE

Annual Lobby Day

Join us for
Reclaiming Justice
Lobby Day

Monday, April 28, 2025 / 9am-4pm / Louisiana State Capitol

Monday, April 28, is Reclaiming Justice Day at the capitol. Join us, community members and other organizations from across the state to collectively demand investments (education, housing, mental health, infrastructure, and health access) in our communities that strengthen us and to reject the punitive and harmful measures that continue to be authored by the legislature. Together, we'll continue to demand relief for everyone in prison with Jim Crow Jury convictions – an upcoming bill brought before this legislature.

Prisons don’t solve the root causes of harm—strong, supported communities do. It’s time to break the cycle. This lobby day isn’t just about showing up—it’s about action. Whether you’re engaging with your legislators through direct conversations, completing field notes, or testifying, your presence matters.

Let your legislators know that Louisianans are watching, are engaged, and we will hold them accountable.

Snacks, water, and transportation will be provided. Please fill out the survey below so we can get you all set up to attend!
