Help us bring our incarcerated friends and family home for the holidays
How you can help:
We need hundreds of calls made and letters sent to Louisiana state officials, so that we can bring our incarcerated community members home for the holidays. Gov. John Bel Edwards and the Department of Corrections have failed at reducing the prison population during the pandemic, which has led to dozens of outbreaks and deaths of vulnerable people. The most recent wave of COVID outbreaks is showing record numbers of cases across the country, and we need your help in bringing children, the elderly, and immunocompromised people home.
As you prepare for the upcoming holiday season, we ask that you help us send a clear unified message to Louisiana leaders that we want our friends and family home for the holidays.
