“Plantations & Prisons” Screening at Cafe Istanbul

PJI’s film “Plantations and Prisons” from our End Plantations Prisons project will be shown at the New Orleans New Works Showcase, an offshoot of Black Film Festival NOLA (@blackfilmfestival_neworleans), on February 17th at Cafe Istanbul, with a discussion to follow. This film documents the testimonies of people directly impacted by hard labor sentences in Louisiana’s prisons.
