Welcome Home to Our Clients 💚

Last week, we joined our former clients for a special Welcome Home Dinner, where we celebrated their freedom and nurtured a community built over many years. People made their way to this dinner from as far as Lafayette and Mississippi. 

There were many reunions of old friends this evening. During this season of gratitude, we are grateful to everyone that joined us. Nights like these are how we build a different future, one that values community, family, dreams, and joy.

During this evening was also honored outgoing Legal Director, Colin Reingold. During Colin’s time with PJI, he created and led the Strategic Criminal Litigation (SCL) team with dedication, innovation, and creativity. Through SCL, hundreds of people who were set to die in prison have come home, saving over 1,361 cumulative years of incarceration.
